TotallyDon’t, Tricia Nagel and Denis Blackford, long time residents of Darwin (the tropical north of Australia), are a musical duo exploring and promoting live performance and original music. (Check out http://www.facebook.com/openmicconnect/ where other amateur musicians are offered a platform for showcasing their music). Also, https://www.facebook.com/totallydont/ where we are developing our social media presence We have been performing around Australia and overseas for 6+ years or so at open mic venues and elsewhere and 2016 had been a year of fine tuning our original songs and starting recording. In January 2017 we were finalists in the Tamworth Songwriting Association Songwriters competition with our song ‘Call Me’. The following year we had three songs (Broken Hearted Town, White water, Darwin Town) making the semi finals and finals in this competition

More recently we have been writing and recording original music and have released a collection of songs in 2017 (‘Dew Drops from the Sun’)  across a range of streaming platforms including YouTube, iTunes, Apple Music Spotify. New songs have been recorded since then and these are uploaded to this website and some to Facebook page. These new songs will be more formally released this year (2020)

UPDATE: Looks like 2020 had other ideas….but we will still plan to promote some new songs via streaming platforms and website as well as Facebook. We have about 8 new songs recorded, some  a while ago, some more recently and we plan to release these imminently – working title – ‘Killing Time’…  design and artwork underway. We anticipate a lightening of COVID 19 restrictions in the Northern Territory over the ‘dry’ season, so some live performances are likely….stay tuned and stay safe…….
